Print Design | Salvadori in a Box Activity Workbook

The Salvadori in a Box Activity Workbook Design involved creating an essential component for the Salvadori in a Box interactive kit, offering eight hands-on STEAM lessons. Tailored for middle school principals, teachers, and parents interested in STEAM education, this workbook complements the kit's interactive projects.

DESIGN + CONCEPT

The design strategy prioritizes the student experience, with intentional choices like ample white space, subtle color elements (green, yellow, and blue), and strategically bolded vocabulary words. The faded NYC building images at the top of each page serve as a visual tie to Salvadori's curriculum, rooted in the built environment. The blue banner, positioned at the top, instills confidence and reinforces a sense of intelligence among students.

IMPACT + FEEDBACK

Feedback from a 6th-grade teacher and an after-school program educator highlighted consistent student engagement, clear lesson comprehension, and smooth collaboration. Their positive experiences underscore the impact of the workbook in facilitating effective and enjoyable STEAM education.
