SOCIAL MEDIA + CONTENT DESIGNER | 5 YEARS

In my multifaceted role, I led the development of content across social media, email, print, and websites, ensuring alignment with organizational messaging and brand identity. I integrated emerging graphic design and social media trends, implementing and optimizing digital marketing campaigns. Collaborating closely with leadership, I ideated and executed strategic marketing initiatives, aligning materials with educational priorities. I supervised analytics, created email campaigns using Constant Contact and Adobe Creative Suite, and managed website updates on Squarespace. I contributed to cross-collaborations for video production and digital marketing initiatives with external firms.

MARKETING AND CONTENT CREATION MANAGER (FREELANCE) | 5 YEARS

I founded Guice Initiatives to support small business owners in developing effective social media and marketing strategies. As the owner, I oversee all aspects of the business, offering social media management and graphic design services. My work focuses on enhancing clients’ brand identities through engaging graphics and digital marketing materials. During this role, I collaborate with teams as needed, stay current with industry trends, and maintain clear communication through tools like Slack, Asana, and Honeybook. I also craft compelling copy for various marketing channels, including email campaigns and digital ads.

BRAND DEVELOPER, CONTENT DESIGNER AND CO-FOUNDER | 1 YEAR

Very On Brand is an intiative started as a way to provide resources and contribute to my passion for digital marketing. Within this role, I implemented brand strategy and developed logos and comprehensive brand systems. This initiative included crafting a social media content strategy, designing visually appealing social media graphics, and assisting in copywriting.

FOUNDER + CREATOR | 3 YEARS

I established "Young Woman's Guide to Success" with the aim of empowering, inspiring, and motivating women to achieve their goals, regardless of life's obstacles. During this role, I curated and edited blogs focused on self-development, career guidance, and life lessons, while creating digital content for Instagram and Facebook, which resulted in a 183% growth in Instagram followers. I also executed web development and design using WordPress and developed brand guidelines and materials with tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Procreate. Additionally, I mentored and communicated with women, supporting them along their success journeys.

AMERICORPS MEMBER + EXTERNAL AFFAIRS COORDINATOR | 1 YEAR

As an AmeriCorps member for City Year, I served as a student success coach working with elementary students having a difficult time understanding math, reading and writing. I also facilitated an after school program involving homework help and special enrichment clubs. By the end of the school year, I have provided 1700 hours of service.

As the external affairs coordinator, I managed my team's social media account on Instagram with a purpose to show the lifestyle of a City Year AmeriCorps member during service.
