Event Marketing | Salvadori 2023 Annual Cocktail Benefit

Salvadori Center’s Annual Cocktail Benefit served as a pivotal event for fundraising, networking, and celebrating the organization's growth within the STEAM industry. The focus was on raising funds for Salvadori programs while providing a platform for STEAM leaders to connect and support the community.

DESIGN CONCEPTS

SAVE THE DATE INVITE:

The design of the Save the Date invitations for Salvadori Center’s Annual Cocktail Benefit was a blend of creativity and formality. Central in the design was a graphic representing the built environment—a middle building rendered in brightened, mixed shades of blue, green, and yellow, with a subtle hint of orange. This choice aimed to encapsulate the vibrant and creative experience students encounter in Salvadori programs.

BACKGROUND:

To further emphasize this experiential theme, the background featured faded photos of students engaged in Salvadori programs. This dual-layered approach not only connected with the event's purpose but also visually conveyed the dynamic and collaborative nature of Salvadori's educational initiatives.

COLOR USAGE:

The color palette—comprising darkened hues of blue, green, and yellow—was a deliberate choice aligned with Salvadori’s brand colors. Dark shades were strategically employed to introduce a touch of formality, resonating with the event's fundraising context. The incorporation of gradient elements within the text and ribbon added sophistication, contributing to the overall sense of formal yet engaging aesthetics.

CAMPAIGNS + STRATEGY

EMAIL CAMPAIGNS

Constant Contact was used for direct invites to STEAM organizations and professionals. The invite list also included attendees from previous years. Sub-campaigns announced the venue and honorees, with
follow-ups on meeting the fundraising goal of 500k.

SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGNS

LinkedIn was the primary platform, aligned with email content. Engagement was heightened by tagging honoree professionals and their organizations. Board members and staff shared Save the Date graphics on their profiles, emphasizing honorees and venue announcements.
